Is there a way for the fast Ethernet port within a 2621 to receive a DHCP delivered address to it's interface? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated.

try using 'ip address dhcp' in the interface configuration.

Already tried that. Doesn't work or I need something else turned on. I tried turning on Service DHCP but that didn't help either...

If there is another router separting this router and dhcp server, then you will need to put a dhcp helper address on the router separating them.

What version is your IOS?
Try using the feature navigator to see if DHCP client is in your version.

That was it. I was using 12.1 which didn't support the DHCP client. Upgraded to 12.3 and now I have the option to assign the IP address as DHCP.
