do i need to buy 2 lots of IOS if upgrading redundent supervisor

If im upgrading a customers 6509 switches, running redundent supervisors, would i need to buy 2 lots of software, one for each supervisor?

As per the info available to me, if you are running in the native mode with active/standby, then 1 license per switch is needed. If you are running in the hybrid mode, then 2 licenses per switch are needed. HTH
