It seems that everytime a backup is done I can't log in to nGeius the next day. I have to reboot the server a number of times in order to get it to recognize nGenius.
I have tried stopping and starting nGenius, but it continues to tell me that it "Could not access the NetScout Server. Make sure it is running".
Any ideas?

I should add that Veritas is ver 4.5 and CW2K is 3.5 with IDU 5.0. Since I can't get into nGenius, I'm not sure of the version number, but it was bundled with the above package.

Use/Install of Veritas on the same server as nGenius is not supproted. If you want to backup the RTM databse, then RTM comes with it's own backup script called dbbackup. See: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps2803/products_qanda_item09186a0080094b24.shtml#dbM6

That's fine for backing up the DB. What do I do about backing up the server?
