Does the BSTUN work with any type of async device?

May I use BSTUN to link any type of async device? For example an ATM?

Async BSTUN will only work with devices that specifically support it not just any async device.

Most ATMs in my experience use syncronous BSTUN not async.

You can tunnel async data without using BSTUN though. See the following URL for more information -

I have a NCR ATM. Now it communicates with a NT Server via a pair of async modems (so the ATM is async).

It seems that the example that you gave me works only for IP Async devices, but the NCR ATMs doesn´t have IP address. Do I have another solution?

You need to configure IP on the routers to tunnel the data, but the async device does not need to run ip.
