Enabling Jumbo/Giant Frame support on 2948G-GE-TX

Hi I am after enabling Giant/Jumbo Frame support on a 2948G-GE-TX in order to improve performance to for an iSCSI network.

I have found documentation on CCO that says this cannot be done on the 2948G-L3 but does not mention the 2948G-GE-TX which has superceeded it.

Can the MTU size be changed to support jumbo frame upto 9216 bytes? on the 2948-GE-TX.

Hi

As per the data sheet its 1522bytes which is the max mtu size which u can configure under the Gig interfaces...
