Enabling Multicast

Campus network environment with one 6509 and several 3550 and dozen of 2950. We are not producing any our own multicast traffic within the campus (except OSPF and CISCO management multicasts and I guess users listening online music or watching video clips).

Is it beneficial for me to configure and enable IGMP and CGMP for this kind of traffic?

No need for multicast configuration unless you have your own applications/servers which stream multicast traffic
