What is the difference between n-802.1q and 802.1q encapsulation. THanks

Same thing..You would see "n-802.1q" if a switch negotiated the trunk type to 802.1q. By default the trunk mode is auto in CAT OS.
You would see 802.1q, if you explicitly configure the interface to be 802.1q trunk
