Hi,
When i check the port status in Catalyst 6513,the status message shown is "errdisable".How should i rectify this problem.
any assistance will be appreciated.

Have encountered similar issue before. This is probably due to duplex or speed mismatch between the switch port and nic. Fixing the duplex and speed settings on the switch port and nic - instead of using auto - should solve the problem. If problem persists, you could try changing the nic or patch cable.
