Hi All,
When I do a sh ver on my cisco 2610 I get the message:
%Error: No System flash chip information available
Now in the running config I see standing partition flash 2 16 0. It looks its saying that their are 2 partition in the device.
I tried no partition flash 2 16 0. But that didn't help, when I write the config and do a reload. I still see it in the run.
Can someone help me to get this error out of the sh ver.
Thanks.
Geert

%Error: No System flash chip information available
This error message indicates that chip information is not available because the information query failed. Likely cause is insufficient system memory at the time the query was done

Hi,
I'll investigated that.
I never re allocated memory so I need to look this up. I read onces it was possible to re allocated memory to the system, but never tried it. But for everything their is a first I guess :)
Main memory he has enough. Their is 64MB RAM in the sytem. After my holiday, I'll investigate this and I will come back to you on that. Thanks in advance for your help.
What about the entry in the show run. What is that doing their?
with kind regards,
Geert
