Syslog message,Failed to log in from console, come from console when telnet to console or any port change stauts(up/down). The message is intermttently appear.
The problem is with the terminal server configuration. Try with "no exec" command on async lines to which consoles of other devices are connected. Make sure that there is no "login" command without password on TTY lines of Term server. Reload the terminal server.
We don't setup any terminal server configuratino in Catalyst 6509 and there is no console cable in console port. You suggest me to try with "no exec" but its OS is CatOS. Does it support this kind command? Thansk
