Help needed!!

A typical configuration for IDSL router show below :

The hostname " 802" Pass "cisco" are the name & pass of remote router or local router?

I havent configured IDSL, so little bit confused

ip nat outside

ppp chap hostname 802

ppp chap password cisco

[lgijssel]

hostname 802 and passw cisco are the username and passw on the remote machine. They are used in ppp chap handshake negotiation.

One more remark on the config: It should be either ip unnumbered or ip negotiated.
