How to disable "ping" on 2950?

I don't hope users on a 2950 switch send "ping" packets.

What steps should I take?

If it's not a problem users in the same vlan to ping each other, you can use ACLs on the VLAN interfaces (if 2950 is performing layer-3 switching) or on the router interfaces performing intervlan routing.
