HSRP query

Dear all,

I have two routers (Router A and Router B)having two LAN interfaces each. I have two servers(Server A and Server B) with two interfaces each. Router A is connected to Server A and Server B via its two LAN interfaces. Router B is connected to the servers A and B in the same way. Now can i configure the HSRP for interface 1 in Router A and interface 1 in router B separately? And interface 2 in router A and interface 2 in router B needs to be configured for HSRP separateky. Will this configuration work ?

You can configure this using two standby groups, hence allowing you to load balance, configure the groups under the interfaces (Interface 1's group 1, interface 2's group 2), the other option for this would be to use GLBP, but only if you network is Cisco.
