I have heard that when you want to connect your exchange server to a SMTP internet server over a cisco (760) router, you have to transport all your incoming traffic at port 25 at the router (static ip address) to port 25 of your exchange server (in my case in 192.168.*.* range).
But I don't know how to do that.
(I have just set up the router for internet access for the first time and that works really fine)
Can someone help me?
thanks,
Frank

I assume you're running some kind of Firewall - if you're not, you're in for alot of trouble! Anyway, here's some links to start:

Hi Frank:
Go to www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/iosw/ioft/ionetn/prodlit/1195_pp.htm
and take a look at the section labeled "Static translations with ports.
That should take care of you.
Thanks...Steve
