I have a 3640 that I need to add some memory to. I had previously purchased, and not used, some MEM1600-16D= DRAM for a 1600. From what I have seen, this looks like it should actually be the same hardware as MEM3640-16D= DRAM, but I want to be absolutely sure before I try to put it in. Anybody know for sure?

I found this information on a web site.
The 3640 uses Fast Page mode RAM, Non-parity. 4 Meg by 32, 5V, 70 ns
The 1600 uses Fast Page mode RAM, Parity. 4 Meg By 36, 5V, 60 ns
It looks like the modules are simular, but different enough that the 1600 module may not work in the 3640.
