Solved: Length of the AS2511-RJ

Hi,

I want to connect console port on a AS2511-RJ. Some of the equipment will be at about 15 meters from it.

I know that RJ-45 Async cables are given with the access server, but I didn't find anywhere the lenght of these cables.

Does anybody know it ?

If the length is too short, is there adapter to extend it with a straight-cable? What's the reference.

That RJ45 console cable is a rollover cable about 8 ft long.

to can make the cable by yourself as its a simple rollover cable where ping 1-8 is wired to ping 8-1.

Or you can connect straight-through cable (like eth) at one end to extend the distance.
