Multicast RP configuration

I'm writting mcast implementation proposal for national academic network in Croatia. / CARNet /

I'm interested in your experience with RP configurations because I'm not shure which is best to implement:

1.) Auto-RP with Static RP as backup

2.) Anycast static RP

3.) Anycast with Auto-RP configuration

Well with the available options you will be going Sparse mode... in testing we have done in the past we have found that depending on how you are distributing groups and how many groups STATIC RP works well with anycast and you have complete control and it is very predicable.

Then again Auto-RP is simple and works well and converges fast in a failure. You must bear in mind issues like SPT switchover etc.
