NAT not translating through my local lan and the wan

I have a cisco 2501 series router and is configured on my lan side ethernet0 and my serial wan side. When i try to route between the local machine (private ip) through my router i get no nat. My local address 192.168.xxx.xxx

passes through to the router to the other side of my wan connection instead of it translating through the wan side of the router.

ex. local machine 192.168.254.55 >

router 192.168.254.253 >

WAN (SERIAL) 65.64.25.25 >

WAN (OTHER) 65.64.25.26 >

FIREWALL 65.115.55.55 * blocks address except 65.64.25.25

ie. my 192.168.254.55 is passing through and being blocked from the local machine instead of translating and passing through as 65.64.25.25

The feature you need can work. There must be a misstake in your config or you are not running a suitable image. You will need IP plus for NAT to work.

Check your IOS feature set and post it along with your config.

Posting your NAT config should help.

Here are just some info:

If your IOS version is 11.2 and 11.3, you will need IP Plus.

With release 12.0, all IP images provided full NAT functionality.
