NAT with host unreachable

Hi everybody,

i have a weird problem.

I have 4 cisco800 and 3 of these connect to the last through vpn. All things works great. These 3 cisco works also as nat to make possible using internet and of course Vpn.

2 of these works great i can use my email, internet and also vpn.

Instead the last has strange response.

I mean in that office i have only two connected computer to a switch and of course the cisco800 router. Both PC can use VPN, they are using as400 connecion without problem, and also shaed folder on a win2003 server. But only one of these can navigate on internet, the other say that the external interface of cisco reply that host is unreachable! (when I do a ping).

But the real strange fact seems to be that the first computer i turn on works perfect while the second only vpn!

Please and good advice will be very appreciated.

thanks again

Hi

Could it be that you missed the "overload" keyword? That way it makes only NAT and not PAT, that would be a good explanation of your situation that only the first PC you switch on works well.

Verify your nat statements on all of your 3 Branch Routers.

Best regards

Simon
