on cat switch what is inteface sc0

I'm drawing a blank, what does the sc stand for?

Switch Console. It's the inband managment interface of the switch and is assigned an IP address and put into a VLAN.

On newer switches, there is also me0 (or me1) which is the physical management ethernet interface on the sup.
