I have a switch with 2 ports disabled, saying err disabled, any ideas ?

Ports get err-disabled for various reason. Normally the switch would log a message saying why the port was err-disabled. If running CAT OS, do a "sh logging buffer -1023" and if running IOS do a "sh log" to check why the port err-disabled.
Depending on the reason, you can take action to remedy this in the future.

I cant find anything on the log im afraid, How would i un-disable the port, ive tried no shutting it but it goes straight off !!

What kind of switch is this. Can you paste output of sh ver, sh log /sh logging buffer -1023
