Problem with booting

Hi everyone

I have a 2500 series router that goes into a loop when booting. The error message it displays reads:

Local timeout (control reg=0x118) Error, Address 0x2130002 at 0x1010AA0(PC)

I can go into ROM monitor mode, but when I set the configuration register to 0X2101 so as to boot from ROM, and initialise, it still goes into a loop. If anyone has had this problem, I would really like to know how you solved it. Thanks

I had a similar issue with a 3620 this morning. I issued the

#boot system flash c3600xx.xx.bin command from the global config.
