Resetting the 2431 IAD to factory settings problem

Dear tech's,

I am at the rommon screen getting the > sign

Rommon 1>

When I am typing confreg 0x2142 I am just getting “rommon 2>” and if try again I will get “rommon 3 >”

No reset prompt , this never happened to me

Any ideas ??

Try another console cable or USB adapter.
