Hi,

I wanna know if this is going to work, sorry i'm a novice

i have a cisco router 2621 with cisco ios 12.2 (4T), 32Mb flash and 64mb ram, wic with two serial one connected to a frame relay one free, we use to access to the internet. by this serial we have a pool of 16 fixed ip adresss.

i want to do this: install a ADSL wic card, but i want the two cards work for the internet conection, ADSL use DHCP to get the ip adress. i want to know if we going to have some problem with the routes, because one serial interface (frame relay) uses igrp, and how the router will chose to send the traffic.

TIA

You can have multiple connections to the Internet and choosing which interface to use depends on the routes that you have in the routing table pointing to different interfaces. Though you are running IGRP on one of the serial interfaces, you could have static routes or use a routing protocol like BGP to connect to internet and packets will be forwarded to Internet using those interfaces based on the routing table entries.
