Show Interface output

Did a show interface on a FastEthernet port on a 7206 and got the following output for the queues:

Output queue 0/40, 0 drops; input queue -145605/75, 0 drops

I am confused as to why the input queue size is a negative number. Any ideas?

What IOS version are you running on this box?

There are a few different DDTSs,

CSCdm44539, about the input queue going negative, this appears to be an issue with Vines traffic. You can access more information at:
