Hi I am planing to buy Catalyst 3850 one number of stitch and 3 numbers of 2960X. 3850 will be my core switch do I need to Stake kit for 3850 I am buying Stake kits for 2960x.

No. The 3850 can not be stacked using a stacking connector with a 2960-X. They do not use compatible stacking systems.
