Need help or a good reference point to connect a 530 serial port on one Cisco to another serial port on a different cisco and have them linked together transparently via IP. I am gussing I need to build a tunnel between the two router, but after that I am unsure of the exact configurations needed. The end devices will be DTE Muxes with a 530 interface. I will use the Timming from the cisco's to provide timing and clocking to the muxes.
Thank you,
Rick

Will I have to use DCE cables from the router to the muxes and config the Bandwidth and such on the router interface to provide the needed timing and clock or will this act as a transparent tunnel between the 2 serial ports.
Thank you again,
Rick
