I curently have a cable modem connection with a cable modem provided by my isp. That connection leads into the WAN port on my Linksys Broadband router. I then share that out to my LAN.
What I want to do is the following:
Replace my isp modem and linksys router with my new ubr924. I want to create a honeypot network (10.x.x.x) off of that connection. I will have PCs on this network that I can leave undefended and hopefully monitor while they get attacked. That network will reside between my ubr924 and my cisco 1605r. On th other side of the 1605r, will be my "secured lan" with my pcs I want to defend with a ios firewall on the 1605r.
My (initial) questions are, which port on my ubr924 is my "WAN" port/interface (the port that has my ISP provided IP address) and in what mode does my ubr924 need to run in/be configured for to get the functionality I desire?
