A 2950 will only support 64 spanning tree instances so you should manually prune everything that you don't need off the link , anything over 64 will not have a spanning tree instance . There really is no reason to allow that many vlans onto a 2950 anyway . I don't think the router supports extended vlans and thats why it is rejecting above 1005.
I have a trunk with 3 vlans : id 100/1100/2100. And I cannot change them. I would like set a trunk on the router (1801) for all vlans except the 100.
with the 2950 I could do it.
