Can you tell me which Cisco switches support either/both 10GBase-SR and 10GBase-LX4. Also is there an upgrade needed in the 6500 for both 10G technologies?

the cat6k supports that technology. It requires a new module called the WS-X6704-10GE with either the

XENPAK-10GB-LX4 or XENPAK-10GB-SR.

This module works with a sup720.
