2 Cisco 7200 series w/ PA-A3-OC3SMI back-to-back

Hi Experts.

Customer wants to buy a dark fiber connection between their 2 sites and connect 2 Cisco 7200 w/ PA-A3-OC3SMI back-to-back.

Would a configuration without an ATM network service in between be possible?

If so, do I need to disable ilmi or something else to make it work?

Apart from disabling ILMI, you may have to set the clock source to internal on one side, and use the same VPI/VCI numbers on both the ends for a PVC. Searching for 'ATM back-to-back' on the website might point you to the right document.
