2610 Tunneling of serial propriatary data

I am trying to Tunnel propriatary Serial data from one device to another accross a WAN via Cisco 2610 routers on each side. Has anyone did this or know where I can find configuration examples for this application?

Try this config on both switches

Interface tunnel 0

ip unnumbered ethernet0 <--or interface on internal

tunnel source ethernet0 <--or interface on internal traffic to tunnel

tunnel destination x.x.x.x <--remote router

!

ip route x.x.x.x x.x.x.x tunnel0 <--destination network of tunneled data
