I have a number of 2950-24 switches at Version 12.0(5.3)WC(1) which reboot roughly at the same time each day. Being distributed over a WAN, this points to the Cisco Works polling as the initiator.
Does anyone have a solution to this?

Try upgrading to 12.1(11)EA1 and if you see the same issue, I suggest that you open a TAC case

Thanks. I have not upgraded, but I have resolved the problem. It was caused by the Cisco Works poll for current configuration. This polled in the order TFTP, TELNET and RCP. By making it poll RCP first and providing valid RCP entries in the configs, the reboots no longer occur. I do not know which of TFTP or TELNET was causing the switches to reboot.
