Hi,
I am trying to get 32 MB flash into a 3620. With "show flash" and "dir" I see the 32 MB but when I try to erase the flash the erasing stops after a number of eeeeeees. I guess that probably my ROM is not at a level to support the 32 MB but I could not find any information on CCO.
If somebody has a working 32 MB flash config with a 3620 I'd be happy to know the ROM version you use. Or if there are any other tricks to make it work.
Thanks,
Mat

Mat,
Here's a show version from one of our 3620 with 32 MB flash. I don't know if anything special had to be done to upgrade from 16MB to 32MB. The router is working fine. Hope this helps

Thanks Sean,
my ROM version is the same as yours. So I have to figure out some hardware issues I guess.
Thanks for your response.

Have you tried installing each flash chip one at a time and erasing it?

Sean,
that's what I did and I found out that three out of four 16 MB SIMMs did not look the way they should. One sent the router in a boot loop, the other one sent the router to nirvana and the third one was only halfway eraseable. So I have to send them back and get new ones.
Thanks again,
Mat
