3750 crashing (?), where to look

Hi,

We have 2x 3750s in a stack. Over the weekend 1 or both(?) restarted and i don't know why. Where is the best place to start looking?

When i do the sh version, i get

System returned to ROM by power-on

How do i know if it crashed and which switch in the stack actually reset?

I've only just turned trap logging on, so i don't have any data before it restarted.

Thanks,

Joey

Your device did not crash - it was either power-cycled, or its power source went down for a few seconds. Check your power source and the outlet circuit (power source to device).

Otherwise you can use the Cisco Output Interpreter (https://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/OutputInterpreter/home.pl - Cisco.com username/password required): enter the output of show stacks.

HTH,

Josef.

Thanks Josef! Looks to me we may have a flaky UPS, lucky it's being replaced soon. Just glad it's not crashing

=)
