3com switch connecting to cisco vlan issue

I need to make a port on a 3com 3300 connect to a vlan on a cisco 4006 switch. Has anyone done this before? Is it doable? Thanks for any info!

Yes, it is doable. The 3com 3300 does support 802.1q. Set up a trunk on both sides using 802.1q and you should be fine.
