4510R-E blank slot covers in 6509 chassis

Hello all.

I have recently purchased several 4510R-E chassis switches.  After installing all the necessary modules in these chassis, I have a lot of spare blank line cards (C4K-SLOT-CVR-E) that slide into the module guides of the 4500-E chassis.  Does anybody know of an issue with using these blank line cards in a 6500 or 6500-E chassis?  Would this negatively affect the cooling of the modules inside the 6500 chassis?  I can't seem to find any documentation indicating that this is not a recommended practice.

Here is a link briefly covering the C4K-SLOT-CVR-E blank line cards and C4K-SLOT-CVR blank face plates.

Thanks for any assistance...

Hmmm.. .Interesting. I like the fact that they have thumb screws verses the other screws. I wonder if that would help with the airflow or hamper it. Anyone tried this?
