6509 module down on starting port-channel

preart
Level 1
Level 1

It is necessary to create a Link Aggregation between Cisco6509 in DELL PowerConnect 6224F (two SFP ports on each side).

Module 2 picks up the link and operating normally.
Module 6 -  after a few seconds, completely switched off and only starts after removal and re-installation in the chassis.

At Dell uses the same ports.

Cisco log:

%PM_SCP-SP-2-LCP_FW_ERR_INFORM: Module 6 is experiencing the following error: Interrupt counters cumulative, (10s critical/noncritical): ROINT[0]: totalcalls=1, aricjacrc=1. ROINT[1]: totalcalls=1152, p2aecc1=184, p2necc1=6, ecc2=521, pb2arinterm=905, (870/182). ROINT[2]: totalcalls=1, aricjacrc=1.
%PM_SCP-SP-1-LCP_FW_ERR_POWERDOWN: Module 6 will be powered down due to firmware error: RO[1] (870 critical int in the last 10s).

Module 6 will be powered down due to firmware error

Either RMA module 6 line card or upgrade the firmware.  This error message tells me the firmware in the line card is corrupted.

Hello, Leo!
Thank you very much for your response.

Can you help me with the upgrade.
Is it necessary to update the chassis firmware or module 6 firmware only?
Where can I find a description of the update procedure and firmware files?

Is it necessary to update the chassis firmware or module 6 firmware only?

Upgrade the IOS of the chassis/supervisor card and that same IOS will load the firmware into each line card.

Where can I find a description of the update procedure and firmware files?

There are several methods of upgrading the IOS of a chassis and instructions for each method can be found in the Release Notes.
