I needed to expand our Server Vlan on our 6509 switch. I expanded the Vlan and needed to move a server from within the Vlan but to the new expanded port. I moved the server from 7/48 to 6/48 (the new expanded Vlan port). The problem is when I moved the server from 7/48 to 6/48 the server was extremly slow and when I moved it back to 7/48 the server was back up to speed. Any ideas why?

Did you check the speed and duplex on the new port 6/48, to make sure it is set correctly.

Yes, I did check the speed and duplex on both ports and they are set the same.

Any other config differences between the two ports?
Did the mac address age out?
