ASDM on ASA5520

I am running an ASA5520 running ASA ver 8.2(2) device manager version 6.2(1).

I am unable to run the ASDM application 1.5(41).

On the computer, I am running Win8.1 x64.

JRE 6.7 (32)

When I try to connect to the units, I get the error "Unable to launch device manager from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. (address is valid on the device).

How do I update either the ASDM or get this version to run?

Has it ever worked or does it work for other users? what do you get if your browse to the ASA via it's IP address - i.e.

https://<ip address>/admin

Also please share output of the following:

dir (just looking to verify you have the ASDM image specified in the next command)

show run asdm

show run http

show run ssl

...from the ASA.
