It would be amazing for customers to have a seamless option to offer voicemail waiting notification MWI, from the ATA per line for people with hosted voicemail services. We advocate VM to email options but it would be great to have 1 or both of the following features available for configuration:
- This may be possible without a hardware change if you have the line, when on hook, blink blue and a different color or something. Otherwise a hardware change may be needed.
- Other land line providers with hosted voicemail provide a special tone or recorded message waiting when they pick up the handset. This would be great as well if we could do this with via SIP MWI to trigger a tone or prerecorded new message waiting notification when they pick up the phone.
