Can someone help with ATM interface issue. The atm PVC I have been assigned is 20/107. The online lab only gives hint to:
I don't need ILMI for a working config, but to confirm that router is connected to the atm switch, I can confugire ILMI on ATM1/0 with
atm1/0
pvc 0/16
atm ilmi-enable
If I debug, "atm ilmi"
I should be able to see debugging information that there will be some info that will say :"ILMI: The neighbor's IFName on INTF (ATM1/0) is ATM0/x/y.
I tried all kind of combination such as
atm1/0.1 point to point
ip address 10.1.1.2 255255255.0
atm pvc 10 20 107 encapsulation aal5snap.
but when I turn on debugging, I keep getting:
01:04:37: ILMI(ATM1/0): Sending ilmiColdStart trap
01:04:37: ILMI(ATM1/0): No ILMI VC found
01:04:37: ILMI: Encapsulation error on o/g ILMI Pdu <ilmi_send_pkt> (ATM1/0)
01:04:37: ILMI: Unable to Send Pdu out <ilmi_send_trap>
Any help will be appreciated. I don't know what I am missing here.
