I am trying to back-to-back connect a 3640 with CT1 adaptor to a 2610 with a FT1 WIC.
I almost tried everything, clock source, clock rate, speed. But I got the serial ports in up/down state.
Before I spend more time on it, just want to know whether it is possible to connect a CT1 (Channelized T1) to a FT1 (fraction T1) with a T1 crossover cable? If yes, what i have to do to get it up. Because with same config I got a CT1 to CT1 up with in a minute.
Thanks for your help.

Greetings!
You need the same module in order to work.

Thanks for the reply. I read this link too. But it didn't point to out that this only work with same module, didn't it?
Probably because I am unclear about the technical difference between the CT1 module and FT1 module, so I wonder why they can't be connected back-to-back.
Any idea?
