Broadcast control on 6500

Hi all.

We perform broadcast storm control on our 6500, with set port broadcast command.

Now we have added a 10/100/1000 line card, and if we perform the command above, it print an error

command not supported on this module

Any idea?

Broadcast and multicast suppression is not supported on the WS-X6148A-GE-TX, WS-X6148A-GE-45A, and WS-X6548-GE-TX modules.

So, how can I prevent that a single port disrupt my entire network?
