C6509 power consumption variation

hi everybody

I will be very thankful if someone can advise how to measure the power consumption of a C6509E switch and to show its variation with time. in other words: do the actual power consumption of the C6509E depends on the size of data being processed. if yes, then what tool can be used to measure this variation.
