Is it possible to configure OSPF md5 and Cleartext authentication for same area on Cisco routers?
ospf Cleartext[router]<---->ospf clrtxt[router]md5<--->md5[router]

I don't believe so.
When you use the area x authentication command under Router ospf 1 for example, you use clear text. In order to use MD5 authent, you need to sue the command area x authent message. This second command overwrites the previous clear text authent command.
You could always make another area, or just use MD5 for everything.

hi,
if you configure for example cleartext authentication
under ospf process you can configure md5 authentication under interface configurtation
interface Vlan100
description
ip address 172.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
no ip proxy-arp
ip ospf authentication message-digest
ip ospf message-digest-key 1 md5 7 xxxxxx

Yes.
If 12.08, 12.08T, or 12.0(7)W05 or later the authentication type can be enabled on a per interface basis. Refer Cisco Bug ID CSCdk33792.
