Now they wish to install the new SUP 7-E's in their two old 4507R-Eswitches (running SUP6-E currently with IP Base) (1 SUP in each chassis) and have Ent Services on both.
Since license is tied to chassis, the SUP7-E boots up with LAN base license on the old 4507R-E chassis.
We can transfer/re-host the ES license from the new 4510R+E to only one of the existing 4507R-E chassis.
What license is required order to move the redundant SUP7-E to the second 4507R-E chassis? (IPBase-Ent Services or Lan Base-Ent Services) Currently its defaulting to LAN Base when it boots up in the 4507R-E switch.
Will the IP base license of the old 4507R-E apply to the new SUP7-E? Or will they need to purchase a LB-ES license upgrade
