Help please.
I am looking to find out what this counter RxLengthErrorDrop might mean.
I am getting an infrequent error on one port on my Catalyst 5500 that is
%SYS-3-PORT_ERR: Port 5/23 RxLengthErrorDrop (103)
The (103) is the number of times this has happened since the counter was last reset.

According to the Cisco Error Message Decoder page:
1. %SYS-3-PORT_ERR: Port [dec]/[dec] [chars] ([dec])
This message indicates that a port error has been detected. [dec]/[dec] is the module number/port number, [chars] is the port counter name, and ([dec]) is the counter value.
Recommended Action: Contact your technical support representative.
