Hello i have a Cisco Router 850 and i need to access the router in order for me to open a port. Is there an IP address i can log in and access a web interface to open up a port? or do i need a specific cable to any software to do this? Please HELP ME!!!

Hi Andy,
You need a Cisco console cable & putty or teraterm terminal to gain access to your router.
Only then you can assign an ip address to the particular interface(s), vlan you might need.

Dear Andy,
If its a brand new router from OEM, then you could access it through LAN IP 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.248
