CiscoView For Windows 6.1 shows interfaces as failed

When I lauch Ciscoview (Ciscoworks for Windows 6.1)for any Switch (3550, 2950.4507) the unused ports show RED indicating failed condition. They should show as light blue. I have the lates software image installed on the switch as well as the latest packages installed on the Ciscoworks management console, ANy ideas??
